These terms and conditions (the "Terms") apply to your use of www.tropolis.blog (the "Site") and to the services, content and communications offered through it by [Legal entity name], trading as Tropolis ("Tropolis", "we", "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

You must be at least 16 years old, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, to use the Site or send us a submission.

You may use the Site for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the Site or its content without our written permission;
• interfere with the Site, its security or other visitors' use of it, including by introducing malware or sending automated or excessive requests;
• use the Site to send spam, or unlawful, abusive or misleading material, or to impersonate another person or organisation;
• try to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site or its systems.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Site at any time without notice.

You can send us music and messages through the Site. Sending a demo is free and gives you no right to a reply, a release or a contract. We are under no obligation to listen to, answer or sign any submission.

You keep ownership of everything you send us. By sending a submission you give Tropolis a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to listen to, store and evaluate it, and to share it with our team and artists for that purpose only. We will not publish or release it without a separate written agreement with you.

You confirm that you own or control the rights in what you send, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law, and that the information you give us is accurate. Please send links, not file attachments, and make sure we can open them without asking for access.

Nothing you send is treated as confidential unless we have agreed that in writing.

The Site and everything on it, including the Tropolis name and logo, designs, text, graphics, images, audio, video and code, belongs to Tropolis or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

Music, recordings, artwork and other works shown or streamed through the Site belong to the artists, labels and other rights holders concerned. You may view and stream them through the Site for your own personal use. You may not copy, download, record, share, sell or otherwise use them without the rights holder's permission.

Except as stated here, these Terms give you no licence or right in our or anyone else's intellectual property.

The Site links to and embeds services run by others, such as Spotify, Apple Music, Anghami, YouTube, Deezer and social networks. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them, or for their content or availability. Releases may not be available in every country or on every platform.

Merchandise is not on sale yet. If you sign up for drop alerts, we will use your email address only to tell you about merch releases, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

When our store opens, prices, payment, delivery, returns and refunds will be shown at checkout and in separate order terms, which will apply to every purchase in addition to these Terms.

Studio enquiries and booking requests sent through the Site are not a confirmed booking. A booking exists only once we confirm it in writing. Fees, deliverables, schedules, cancellation terms and rights in the work produced will be set out in a quote or service agreement, which prevails over these Terms for that project.

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that information on it, such as release dates, line-ups and availability, is complete or current.

Nothing in these Terms excludes any right or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tropolis and its team, artists, partners and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on its content.

Our total liability to you for any claim connected with the Site will not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or [amount] if you have paid us nothing.

You agree to cover our reasonable losses and costs arising from your breach of these Terms, from anything you submit that infringes someone's rights or the law, or from your misuse of the Site.

How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version on the Site is the current one, and the effective date at the top shows when it last changed. If you keep using the Site after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

We may block or restrict access to the Site at any time if we reasonably believe you have broken these Terms or the law.

These Terms, and any dispute connected with the Site, are governed by the laws of Lebanon. The courts of Tripoli, Lebanon have exclusive jurisdiction, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. If a provision is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale of the business.
